Shipping and deliveries

Description of service

The goods contained in the order are prepared and entrusted to the courier with the manufacturer's original packaging or with cardboard boxes appropriately closed with tape bearing the wording "FRAGILE" or, in other cases with plasticized envelopes sealed with the logo of the courier used.
The delivery times for the products to the courier are published in the Courier Delivery Times section and vary depending on the payment method chosen.
Deliveries are made on working days, from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Hours means the hours included in Working Days.
Depending on the case, and the agreements in force with the Courier at the time of the orders, we can use the following carriers: GLS, UPS, BRT-DPD, DHL, TNT, SDA, Poste Italiane. Under no circumstances is the right to choose the courier or a delivery method/option not expressly communicated to the Customer during the order phase. 
Orders may be fulfilled and shipped by third-party logistics partners on behalf of Profumeria Lanza. The sender shown on the shipping label may therefore differ from our registered business address.
The delivery times of the Courier to the Customer's home are detailed in the Delivery Times and Types section and are to be considered indicative as they may be subject to variations due to force majeure, poor traffic and road conditions, strikes or act of the Authority.
Delivery costs are borne by the Customer and are also detailed in each individual "type of delivery" chosen.
Upon delivery of the goods by the Courier, the Customer is required to check:
- that the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated in the Courier's accompanying document
- that the packaging is intact, not damaged, wet or altered.
Once the Courier's transport document has been signed, the Customer will no longer be able to raise any objections regarding the quantity and quality of what was received.


Delivery times to the Courier

The delivery times to the courier vary depending on the payment method chosen and the availability of the product:
For payments via PayPal, Cash on Delivery (except for delays due to validation of the order by telephone contact), Vouchers and Vouchers: orders acquired by 8.00 am on Working Days are entrusted to the Courier on the same day.
For payments by credit card: orders acquired by 8.00 am on working days are entrusted to the courier on the same day.
An exception is made for orders for which we reserve the right to request a "verification of authenticity" with the relevant banking institution (verification which verifies the actual ownership of the credit card). In the event that an "authenticity verification" is activated, the customer will be notified via e-mail. This verification takes on average 24 to 48 hours.
For payments by bank transfer: an average of 2 working days pass from the time the bank transfer is made before the amount is credited to our current account. All orders, for which the amounts will be credited by 8.00 am, are entrusted to the courier on the same day.
In all cases, orders containing made-to-order products are an exception. In this case, the products are entrusted to the courier on the working day following our receipt of the product. Receipt times on our part can vary from 3 to 20 working days and are in any case detailed in each individual product sheet in the catalogue.
The assignment of the order to the Courier is confirmed by sending an email to the contact details indicated by the Customer in the order itself.


Delivery times, types and costs

Standard delivery - Italy *

It is a delivery made on working days from 08.30 to 19.00. *
This type includes street front delivery for all products.

All orders with Standard Delivery can be entrusted to GLS, UPS, BRT-DPD, DHL, TNT, SDA, Poste Italiane. 

In the case of Standard Delivery, the first delivery is made without notice. In the event of the Customer's absence, the Courier leaves a notice of passage (pay slip inside the mailbox or sticker on the doorbell) and attempts delivery again on the next Business Day. In the event of a further failed delivery attempt, depending on the carrier used, the Customer may be contacted directly by the Carrier and/or by Profumeria Lanza staff to receive the information needed to collect the parcel from the nearest holding point, within the timeframe set by the carrier. If this delivery attempt is also unsuccessful, the product returns to the Profumeria Lanza warehouses with consequent cancellation of the order and subsequent refund according to the chosen payment method.

International express delivery - European Union *

It is a delivery made on working days from 08.30 to 19.00.
This type includes street front delivery for all products.

All orders with international express delivery can be entrusted to GLS, UPS, BRT-DPD, DHL, TNT, SDA, Poste Italiane.

In the event of the Customer's absence, subsequent delivery attempts are normally subject to the same rules as those set out for Standard Delivery Italy. Alternatively, the Customer will be contacted directly by the Courier and/or Profumeria Lanza staff who will provide the information necessary to define the delivery.

* Unless otherwise specified through specific notices on the website pages (e.g. due to closure for holidays, inventory, etc.). The values indicate the actual average delivery times for 95% of shipments; the service provided is not "time-defined", i.e. with certain delivery on a specific day. The delivery times indicated are on a statistical basis and on the mass of shipments made; any delay with respect to the times indicated does not constitute any condition for possible compensation against us. In compliance with the highest level of cooperation and good faith, Profumeria Lanza undertakes to make all necessary efforts to ensure delivery takes place within the indicated times.


Shipping cost

Shipping costs are calculated automatically and indicated at the end of the purchase process before making the payment:
- for destinations in Italy they are equal to €5.99 and are free for a minimum spend of €75;
- for destinations in the European Union (excluding Cyprus, Greece and Malta) they are €14.99 and €9.99 for a minimum spend of €200.


Uncollected Package

Failure by the recipient to collect the parcel cannot be construed as exercising the right of withdrawal. In the event of failure to collect due to the recipient's absence or refusal, resulting in the parcel being returned to the sender, the shipping costs (outward and return) incurred by the seller will be deducted from the total refund amount. The customer will receive a refund for the value of the products, net of the shipping costs actually incurred.
